I am selling my ionic to a friend. When she tries to setup on her phone with app the screen says unlock with phone. The phone asks for a code but she never gets one. Any help?

Hello @Teacher1998 is the ionic still connected to your account?
If so you will want to use your phone to unlock the Ionic.
This should have been done before removing it from your account also you still would want to do a factory reset to clear your personal data.

My question did you only setup the lock for Fitbit pay? If so scroll over to settings - tap - scroll up to about or help (I'm not sure which) - tap - then scroll up to on factory reset and tap and confirm.
If you can not get to the settings then we need to do a factory reset the other way.
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
