Initially I had no issues with my S8+, but I have noticed as the Fitbit app updates, the syncing isn't as good as it was in the past when I first got it. I am still playing with it, but once in awhile I have to force stop the Fitbit app and that helps. I do have All day sync turned off, but I have left Always connected on to see if that ensures notification still work.

Always connected/all day sync has no effect on notifications. Turn them off.

That's what I thought, but below the always connected it states it improved reliability of notifications, etc so I left it on. I have now turned both off to see if it works better.

Actually makes reliability of notifications worse imho combined with the other setting.
Best AnswerI have turned both off and i'll be watching it for the next couple days. Today I got all my notifications (even gmail) so right now things are looking good
