Earlier this week, the Fitbit app on my iPhone 10 advised that a firmware update for my Ionic was available. I did not download the update; got busy and did not do it. The Ionic is still charging, collecting some data (steps, bpm, calories), appears to be connected via Bluetooth to iPhone, although not syncing with Fitbit app on phone. The Fitbit app isn't working - not displaying any data, no links at bottom of screen for Today, Discover, etc. I did notice the iPhone installing a new version of Fitbit app yesterday (10/20), and since that installation completed is when the Fitbit app began not working properly.
Need advice on what processes I need to follow to update firmware for my Ionic, and to get Fitbit app to start displaying data as collected by the Ionic. Also, since Ionic firmware and Fitbit app are different devices, which problem should be fixed first - the app or the firmware update? Thanks!

Hi @NGarlandJim, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iOS mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.
Then, you can move forward and try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes. You can also troubleshoot the Fitbit app following the next steps:
Looking forward to your reply.
