Syncing music using connect for Mac

Is it me or is there anyone else who finds syncing  music a nightmare?   I have to reinstall Fitbit connect every time, while it’s connecting to my music list it is sluggish at best,  and takes several attempts to connect to Wi-Fi and my watch

 I’m finding the whole syncing process time consuming. Fitbit connect app for Mac seems buggy and slow to load music, convoluted when syncing with Wi-Fi, and just all-around anunpleasant experience.
