Syncing podcasts to Ionic?

ANSWERED

I just started using my Ionic and like the Pandora Plus stations for music while running which I set up using my iPhone..

But when I go for a walk with the dog I like to listen to podcasts that I subscribe to in iTunes on my Windows 10 pc

Presuemably I need to organize this with the Fitbit App (not Fitbit Connect) ?

What is the best way to have the latest 5 podcasts of my favorite 3 “subscribed to podcasts” magically appear on my Ionic and then delete as they are listened to?

create podcasts playlists in iTunes maybe?

And then select and sync over WiFi via windows 10 app?

A warm welcome to the Community @swin1974! In order to transfer Podcasts to your Ionic tracker, you need a Windows 10 PC or a Mac connected to Wi-Fi to download music and Podcasts.

You need to follow this procedure to download Podcasts to your watch. Once you've listened to the Podcasts, you need to manually delete them

Hope this helps! Let me know if there's any other doubt.

I'm not sure if the Windows app has a setting option but for the Mac, there is a settings (gear icon) / advanced settings.  In advanced settings, There is an option to specify the IP address of the Ionic, if you know if (if you have access to your home router).   This seemed to trigger the connection, otherwise the [Mac] app never seems to find the device.

That's a bit of a hassle. Do you think in the future you could work on making/getting an app that would update automatically, kinda like the NYT app?

Thanks

I too would like to listen to my podcasts, ideally directly from my castbox app (I am using Huaweii p20 Pro).
