My fitbit worked fine for a few weeks and I was very happy with it. Then on November 20th it stopped syncing properly. I've read all the reports on this problem. Tried the various fixes. It won't download the latest update. In desperation I uninstalled the ap and reinstalled it. Now it can't pair up at all. I am left with a very expensive watch! Clearly I'm not alone. Are there any real fixes?

Try doing a factory reset. Settings>About>Factory Reset on your Ionic. However, do when you have an hour or two and have wifi. Hope this helps.

Ok so I was excited about this watch when I got it. $300 in and we have calendar and reminder synch issues but yet call notifications are fine. Its buggy; please update this thing to work correctly instead of concentrating on clock faces and such. Besides resetting the thing and consequently it works for a few days and then back to not working afterwards, when can you (Fitbit) tackle this issue with a firmware update!! its a $300 piece of hardware! thanks

Similar issues. I have also the Blaze and that one it is better at synchronizing but also has issues. I have not done the factory reset. But who was 2 hours free to do such a task? It is an almost 300 dollars watch and I am starting to feel like I should return it 😞 and go for the S3 Frontier.

Update: It seems that there is a new app option, or somehow automatic updates are not really working well for Fitbit app. I reset the watch (terrible idea) and reinstall the phone app. The process was slightly different to what I remember last time I did it. So, again, my guess is that changes to fix this problem have been made but it does not automatically update with the app, but, instead, we have to manually reinstall the program. (BTW, remember to check "Allow for Location"). Now it is working with the Ionic, I have not tried the Blaze.

I reset the watch, removed it from the app, reinstall the app making sure I selected the Allow Location for Google. It was like a start over with the watch updating as the first time I got it. This worked, but, yes, I you can guess, it is time consuming, so only do it when you have at least 2 hrs to spare (as if!!!).
