Because of a rare alignment of the sun, earth and moon? I don’t know and give up.
On a more serious note, a little more information would be helpful; phone used, what steps have you taken to try and remedy the problem, have you searched the forum to see if anybody else has a similar problem and if so, what steps did they take to rectify the problem.
Also, not syncing is not symptomatic of failing to receive notifications; they are different process. The problem is probably a Bluetooth connection issue (which would affect both).
