Text Message Will Not Clear On Fitbit Ionic

I have a text message notification that will not clear off my fitbit ionic.  Any suggestions?

i will get new messages , they clear but this one will not clear no matter if i open it and clear it or click clear all.

This is odd. What type of text message is it (application)? 

 

I'd recommend restarting your watch and trying to clear the message then.

@SantiR, restarting the fitbit to clear the messages isn't an acceptable solution. That's a workaround. Has this been logged as a bug and a real solution being worked on? I'm experiencing the same issue. Yes, restarting clears the messages, but this is clearly a bug.

Yes, I agree it's a bug. It has become a regular occurrence for me over the last week. That's not lending any optimism to my expectations, since I opened my new Ionic, updated, and began use it 12/21/2018.

I am having this problem too. Its emails and text messages. Most clear but the last 4 will not delete unless I reboot my Ionic. Then it happens again. This is since the latest update.

I haven’t had it happen since I rebooted my fitbit. Sounds like i am the
lucky one!

My replacement Fitbit continues to have this issue. I continue to have to reboot the watch. It would appear there is more going on here. My first Fitbit had a different issue. It seems like I trade one issue for another.
