Hi
I have used my Ionic for month.
Last week it started having syncing issues. I tried syncing manually but it didnt work. I set bluetooth on and off etc. Finally I removed the pairing to my Android phone and reset the watch and since then syncing has worked.
BUT instead the step counting is WAY off. It has always overestimated a bit but yesterday it was ridiculous. It recorded the highest amount of steps for the whole month, over 16000. And I basically just walked 3 km and then was at home all day. Sitting at my desk and moving around a bit in the kitchen etc.
Best AnswerRestart your tracker again a couple of times. Let us know how that goes.

Best AnswerHave restarted twice now but it doesnt help.
Also changed arm to non dominant but still have it set as dominant.
Best AnswerDid you ever get this resolved? I have had my Ionic since Christmas and have had multiple issues with syncing. I have followed all of the suggestions for bluetooth on/off, remove device, restart phone, restart Fitbit, completely REMOVE and add the device, etc. It is very frustrating. I had a Charge 2 before I upgraded and while it had some issues, nothing like the Ionic has had. I am hoping you got a final solution that worked. I have an Android phone.
Best AnswerNo not really.
It works better after a few resets but it still records too many steps while being at home. At work or out actually walking it works fine. Maybe I move way more at home than I think I do? 😄
Best AnswerHi mine is doing the exact same thing. I left it off over night and I’ve already walked 1400 steps and it was recording a pulse rate as well. It only started a few days ago after I had to disconnect from Bluetooth because it wasn’t syncing properly. I bought two of these so I’m not impressed at all.
