Touch screen Fitbit Ionic stopped working. Hard reset didn't work

Fitbit Ionic bought in January 2018. 

 

Today in the morning the screen got sluggish and couldn't toggle between apps. After two or three times swiping left and right, the watch responded. A while later, the touch screen stopped working definitely. I couldn't toggle between the different screens. The three buttons and sync with app continued working and the Fitbit still records data. 

 

I reset the watch several times andI even performed a factory reset. None of these procedures worked. Everything seems to work perfectly except the touch screen. Even the double tap.

 

Any ideas on what to do next to solve this issue ?  Without the touch screen all the apps are unavailable, nor music nor exercise recording among other features.

Edit ( 21/03/18) : 

After reseting the IONIC two more times (factory reset), it came back to life. It worked without any problems for some days, until yesterday, when it got blocked again. I strongly believe all the problems are caused by faulty software, not hardware. Once again, factory reset and all came back to order. Hope they fix this soon as I can't just spend 1h or 2h per week getting my Ionic to work.

Hello what if your warranty expired? which is my case. Thus Ionic was a present. Does this mean that I have a device i can put my device in the bin? Is this a hardware issue or a software issue?

hello @YojanaFitbit @SunsetRunner009 . but i have no warranty because it was a present. tHat is to says i only have my eyes to cry...what can i do. yOu are here for the best expérience. bUt wihtout warranty what can you do for me?

You guys did absolutely nothing for me either. My watch didn't come on at all. No warranty, we can give you 25% off a BRAND NEW watch. I couldn't even use this watch the first year I had it. Not compatible with my phone.

I fiddled with my watch got it on but now touch screen does not work. Can anyone help me there because I'm pretty unhappy with everything about your customer service

Can confirm mine just one day stopped working with the touch screen, and I treat it pretty well. Its rather unfortunate that fitbit has become the brand of cheap hardware without innovating in the past 2 years.

Mine was only 2 days old and today, screen just blackout... could not reset,  cannot do anything... contacted Fitbit, they gave me a replacement... likely hardware issue

My fitbit charge 2 died and no help. Tried upgrading to ionic which i really liked and having the same issue as above. Wont  swipe or go to apps and its only 6 months old.

 

What do we have to do go to another brand of tracker.
