Touchscreen unresponsive

The Ionic works fine, but the touchscreen has become only intermittently responsive, working less than 50% of the time.  I have tried warming my fingers and have even asked my husband to swipe, but still no response. Tracking seems to be fine.

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.
