So I got the Ionic Yesterday. I slept for around 9 hours last night, but in between I was awake for around 30 mins and even went downstairs for a drink.
Ionic never even recorded that I was awake for the 30 mins. Is this normal?
I see see a lot of people unhappy with the Ionic for the smart watch side of things (which I am happy to wait for them to be hopefully ironed out), but if it can’t do simple tracking that my Charge 2 can then this will be another unit that has been returned.

Hi @SunsetRunner,
Usually it will detect and log the awake period, and it will show up as a red section on the sleep chart. So usually if I'm up for 30 minutes, it won't interrupt the sleep period, it just marks that section as awake.
It sounds like for some reason it's not detecting your moving around as being awake.
Restarting the tracker is usually a good idea, in case something is just hung up on the Ionic itself.
If it still happens, you can go into your profile in the app, under Advanced. Find Sleep section there, and change it to Sensitive. This way it will detect more minor movements as awake.

Thanks, but I took it back and went back to my Charge 2 👍
