Treadmill distance (run) greatly differs from ionic

I cannot understand why when running on the treadmill my distance never matches my Fitbit?  It doesn't matter if I have it on treadmill or run.  It can be as much as a mile off.  When I run outdoors it's accurate.

Your stride on the treadmill is different than outside. It will never match.

Did you set your stride length? And be careful not to run keeping your habds on the hand holders.
