Unable to connect device (Reset PIN doesn't work)

Hi team,

This morning, I deleted my debit card and added another one. Then, I cannot unlock my inoic even I used the correct PIN. Then I tried several solutions from this forum. None of them helped.

Finally, I got a deadlock.

1. My inoic asks me to unlock it with my phone.

2. I delete my inoic from the fitbit app. When I tried to pair them again, inoic kept showing 'unlock with your phone'. So I lost the connection between my phone and my inoic and cannot pair them again.

Is there a way to solve this? Thanks!

James

When the tracker is asking you to unlock with the phone, it means to use the Fitbit app on the phone to unlock the tracker.

Go to the tracker settings, Device lock, enter your phones unlock code and change the ionic password.

This is explained in the Lock FAQ. Found under the Help link below.

Now that the tracker is not connected to the account we will not be able to unlock with the phone, and since the ionic is locked we have to do the hardware reset.

Fitbit OS hardware reset.

On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This will trigger the 2-button hardware restart after about eight seconds.

- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, whilst continuing to hold the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.

- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.

- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
