My phone does not give me the code to unlock the phone! I deleted the watch from my phone to reinstall it and try again but I can't reinstall it because it still requires unlocking!

I contacted Fitbit helpdesk.  You have to hard factory reset it.  Below is the instructions

If restarting didn't work, please try to factory reset your tracker.

  1. On the watch, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the watch successfully resets, advise the customer to use the normal out of the box process of updating the firmware (See How do I update my Fitbit device?).

After the reset, please try to set up your Ionic again to your account. If the issue still persists, please get back to us right away so we can check on what else we can do about it.

Funny. I had the exact same problem.  My Ionic is locked.  I tried to unlock it with my phone, but it kept failing.  So I deleted the device from my phone and reinstall.  And now I couldn't enter the code because my Ionic kept on asking to Unlock with phone
