Fitbit, in conjunction with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), announced a voluntary recall of Fitbit Ionic smartwatches, which the company introduced in 2017 and stopped producing in 2020. The battery in the Ionic smartwatch can overheat, posing a burn hazard.
The health and safety of Fitbit users is our highest priority. We are taking this action out of an abundance of caution for our users. We will offer a refund to Fitbit Ionic customers.
This voluntary recall is specific to Fitbit Ionic devices. It does not impact any other Fitbit smartwatches or trackers.

Planning to order 2 devices (should have 40% off both) and 2 bands (should be free)..but when I tried it, it seems i can only input 1 code and it only discounted 1 device.
How can I use the 3 different codes (for device, for freeband, for premium) all in one transaction. Please help, thanks!

I have the same thing. An email came today April 1.no idea what to do. I don’t recall being asked for payment option earlier on in the process eg. Paypal. I’m in the UK

Thankyou for your service I bought the fit bit for cheap and then heard about this ..I've now received the refund within 3 weeks and 3 days ordered my new one as have the left over money on a prepaid card no issues with codes or emails nothing that a bit of common sense couldn't resolve ...

Just been on to support, its legit. Enter your redemption code and follow instructions. You will then be issued a virtual mastercard which can be used for online purchases like any other card. UK Value £223.71 hope this helps.

I'm in the UK, and just did this. The link took me directly to register for the card, but it took me straight to the prepaid card (I only had to give my name and a password of my choosing to register). The card shows all the options you need to use it by clicking 'view card' and even has a button explain how to use it also. All works...I didn't get the follow up page in your screenshot, but the first one with the link looks correct?

Is anyone here from Malaysia? I have received a refund but it's in the form of GrabFood vouchers... and they can only be used in a single receipt.... completely useless unless I throw a party lol

Got my refund in the firm of a virtual MasterCard.
Have to say, I'm slightly disappointed with the way that works - can only be used online, not in person. Can't use it as a partial payment for online purchases (so you always have to have more credit remaining that the cost of what you're buying). And you can't top up the card either.
So if you don't manage to spend exactly the balance of the card, you're always going to be left stuck with some amount left of it at the end that you can't use or transfer off. And if you don't use the card for 3 months they start charging fees which will gobble up you're stuck credit.
The PayPal refund is probably the better way to go (hopefully you can do a withdrawal to your bank account), but I couldn't do that because my email address is linked to my business PayPal account. So I obviously didn't want my refund going there.

You just have to click back once you have added the first item.
It's this reason i only ordered the watch first time.
I cancelled and had so many issues, but kindly given another code from someone I the community. I ended up ordering a watch for my mum and myself, 2 bands and the premium fitbit membership.
Then I found out you can re enter the discount store via the "exclusive" tab on their website where I ordered a further 3 bands which are on back order.
Still annoyed as they never replied and was forced to get the grey sense rather than black which I originally ordered. The second time round the back version was missing and couldn't be purchased. I see its there again now though!

@gtazy thanks, but it seems it still not working for me, tried to remove all devices in my cart, then add one, inpute the code (the discount takes effect)..then go ba to add another device, but upon input of the code, no discount was reflected, only in the first device I add to cart.
Also, I cannot find the exclusive tab you are sharing. Thanks for the help, hope you can further help my inquiries. Salamat :)!

I just called and despite me sending both of my ionics early March, both of them just arrived this week. Both returns are now in processing. The rep said once the Ionic goes from processing to ready to refund, we will receive an email letting us know the return has been processed. It typically takes 1 week from that email. Based on this thread it takes 2-3days from that email.
I am a US Customer and sent the first Ionic in the first week of March and the 2nd Ionic the 2nd week of March, but arrived this week and are in processing.

As per recent recall from Fitbit, my Iconic has been disabled and cannot sync back to the App.
My watch was working fine and would like to continue using it as it was a recent present from my Compass. Can I through any means of process, re-sync it to the app again ?

Good morning - I did get a number to contact to follow up on the Ionic return, 888-240-2819. They informed me that they have received my device, and the refund is currently in process. Fingers crossed.
