Weather app finds no location info

I live in northern Norway, can't get any weather info on my ionic. When I go south it works all fine. Why want it show weather in places in the North Calotte? Is there any other weather apps available?

@Tao75   I was immediately fascinated by you question -- it made me research Norwegian geography and the limitations of GPS satellites.  From my reading -- and here is the article I found --GPS is not as global as we think.  There are limitations to GPS mapping above the Arctic Circle.

What happens if you manually enter the closest, largest town as a location using the Add City in the List of Cities in the app settings?  Do you get weather information if you do that?

In your case, I don't think there is an app for that.

The AccuWeather app on my phone show me weather for my location, but the problem is that the AccuWeather app on fitbit ionic does not. No problem with GPS
