Weather on Ionic not syncing

After the most recent update the weather app won't sync. It also had changed to Celsius. I've completely removed the watch and removed the blutooth connection, re connected it all, still nothing. I've restarted the watch. Nothing. My phone has location services 'always on' for Fitbit. What's the deal?

It's great to see you around @chriskerins! I appreciate the details that you've mentioned as well for the troubleshoot that you've performed. 

 

Regarding your weather app not syncing, try the following steps: 

- Confirm your weather app is set up correctly 

- Your Ionic should sync in order to update the weather 

- Leave Fitbit app running in the background of your phone 

 

In regards to the weather showing on Celsius, please change the settings, by checking the instructions on this article How do I set up and troubleshoot apps on my Fitbit device?.

Sorry to jump on the post but I also have the same issue with my weather app and have done since last year. I’ve done all of the above but will still not sync. Please advise as I can’t even remove the app as it’s a bit pointless if it won’t work. Thank you

Welcome to the Community @Greenlisa22! Thanks for the steps that you've performed. If the weather app isn't updating, this might be because your Ionic isn't syncing to your app. I also would like you to confirm that you've done this procedure to change the weather settings.

Ionic not updating weather information.  Restarted.  Resynced.  Not working.

Problem started with new release upgrade.  Also will not update app settings (clock face).
