In regards to the alleged new SPO2 feature on the Versa 2 - either they have a new sensor or they finally got off their collective behinds. But unless the sensor on the 2 works and they don't on the older watches, they would be crazy to not release it for older ones. But this assumes that tne new feature will actually show up.
You've got to wonder about their motivation. I'm hearing that they are having financial problems; it does seem to me that they truly don't care. When I've gotten tech support, it typically doesn't solve anything. In particular, I can go for hours at a time when my Versa does not record a pulse. Sensor is clean, strap tight enough that looseness should not be an issue. But in, say, an 8 hour sleep period, there could be 3 hours in the middle when I'm asleep when it thinks I'm awake. But all their responses seem right out of the preprogrammed list of nothing responses. And the need for apnea information is something they talk about but seemingly put no effort into. This is all sad, because there are a lot of good uses for what they make. But my guess is that they won't survive long term.
