Has there been any update when the spo2 sensor will be available for use. It was the only reason I chose this watch over the others I was looking to buy.

I'm in the US. The EOV starting working a few days ago without a SW update which seems odd.

No new software needed. Fitbit remote control.

I think it is very distrustful not to inform users about the new SP02 monitoring at night.  Is it also ethical not to inform users.   Why can we not monitor during the day and during exercise.

I’m not medically trained or qualified. IMHO the reason why it doesn’t give a reading for SP02 during the day is it can’t get a reading while you are moving about. The finger readers used in hospitals you sit still with your finger low ie on your lap. Fitbit/Google had problems due to regulations. Some of the cheap ones from China do give a reading with Blood pressure which I would take with a pinch of salt.

If you bought a Versa, Charge 3, Versa 2, Ionic, that they had SPO2 sensors
was a noted feature. The only issue is that they've never done anything
until now, and whether what it does now is worth anything.

That we can't see our data, or use this for everyday normal life is a huge
issue.

It's great that they've updated the sleep area with SPO2 readings... I would like to be able to understand the readings. A graph with LOW and HIGH along the y axis does nothing. Give us some more information regarding the graph. Percentages?! Stop locking our information behind a paywall.

Nicely said. The chart is supposed to suggest that if high, that your O2
numbers are a lot different than normal - whatever that might be. So far,
over a few week period, I've only had 2 charts, and cannot correlate the O2
EOV chart to how I was actually sleeping. I MIGHT be able to if I could
see the raw movement and heart rate data - but one has to pay extra for
that. About $120 per year, say for the 2 year estimated life of the watch,
takes say a $200 cost and ups it to $440 before tax. That is at best,
super sleazy.

They hold our data hostage - that of it they are sort of willing to let us
see, and completely lock out the rest of it such as the raw O2 data.

Well that was short lived, i noticed that i could see the oxygen variation graph a couple of days ago and going back to mid Jan.  Might have been nice if Fitbit had notified users.

Today when i looked the graphs had gone, including the nights they were present, I don't know if this is a fault with my device or they just removed the feature, communication isn't great!

I've checked several times since people started reporting that they found it and I've never had anything.

Maybe its just luck, if I'd not looked and found the graphs a couple of days ago i would assume ive never had them

I feel quite sad and let down by the way I have been taken in by fitbit.  I have an Ionic now and wil not replace it in two years when the battery dies.  Why should we pay for premium too.  Not impressed at all to be honest.   It but won't tell me my SPO2 levels and I cannot use it to pay for anything in the uk either.

If you would like to use any bank card via Fitpay come back and I will tell you how. I have been using it for months with no problem. The SP02 works and gives the information.....

You'll be lucky if you're on the same device after 2 years!

I also think it's outrageous that you have to pay extra for premium to use all the features, I won't be doing it.

One of the first things i did was try an register my credit card (im in the UK too) and it wouldn't register, this was one of the key features for me as well! Seems they only use a few obscure cards and none of the main banks.

just hit reply and ask how and I will let you know. It not a con and so easy to use.

The card is Curve it’s not another bank card but a app and a card that you add all your credit debit cards or just the cards you want. You then select your card to use to make payment via the app. Wrong card used, no problem switch with any of your cards listed within 14 days. Please note the app has paid versions and the free one. That’s what I’m using.

you can then stop carrying all your cards which is a safety thing. You also get real time text on any spend. Loads of other benefits.

one other benefit you get 1% cash back on three listed shops of your choice from quite a long list. I have Amazon and John Lewis. If you want any further info just ask.

I agree.  I was going to buy fitbits for my 5 kids.  No chance of that now.  What an absolute disappointment.  Premium is a joke.  It should be free considering the price we pay.

Well.  its working now.  after such a long time.

My fitbit didnt even inform me about the update. Suddenly its started showing Spo2 data under sleep info
