Why some activities are editable?

I have both a Pixel 4 and a Chromebook. I can edit some activities but not others. For example my Swim has no pencil icon but my Walk does. Looks like activities that are auto recorded are editable but ones i select to record are not. Is there any way to edit activities that i have selected to record?

(Sometimes the Ionic watch doesn't keep recording the entire length of the activity.)

@JulRip Welcome to the Community. Thanks for letting me know that you have Pixel 4 and a Chromebook. 

 

The activities that are tracked using SmartTrack are the ones that will have the pencil icon, because you're able to edit the name of it. However, the activities that are manually tracked using the exercise option won't have the pencil icon. 

 

I would like you to make sure you're doing this procedure to track your activities and when using SmartTrack you may want to lower the time to 10 minutes to be detected in order to make sure it gets tracked.
