Won't update , won't sync

Fitbit App on Windows & Android can't find my ionic. 

It can't update , It can't sync. 

Messages are completely unhelpful as to udnerstand what is the problem. 

Tried via bluetooth, tried via wifi. Tried at full charge (100%)

Tried restarting. Tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

Tried tunrining bluetooth on/off. 

 

Can this device at least give some technical message about what is wrong with it?

I'm sorry to see that you've been having trouble to sync with the Fitbit app, before considering other options, please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here below; they have been useful to other users: 

 

  • Check the compatibility of the mobile device being used to sync or to update. 
  • Make sure you've exhausted all troubleshooting steps here
  • Make sure the app is updated for the latest version available. 
  • You can also follow the steps here for difficulty to complete firmware update.

After uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app on Windows 10 the device has been connected and synced fine. 

 

This issue can be closed.
