Workout keeps getting dropped

In the middle of my workout, the iconic drops my workout and it goes back to the time.  If I am swimming, I do not know how many laps I have done or missed.  When running, and look down to see how much further I need to go, it is back to time.  Have called the customer help and was told, there is nothing they can do because it is an iconic flaw.  Not real happy.
