battery at 0%, won't charge

My Fitbit Ionic is less than 2 months old; it is gently worn and properly maintained. One night, I put it on the charger, like I have approximately every 5 days since I've owned it, but when I came back a couple of hours later, the battery charge had not increased at all. I tried charging it on the charging cradle, and the regular cable and AC adapter. It still did not charge. It is now reading 0%, will not charge, and will not turn on. I have tried doing a hard restart (left button and bottom right button simultaneously for 15 seconds) and a factory reset (all three buttons simultaneously for well over 15 seconds). No success. I feel like i'm out of options. If anyone has any advice on what to do with this $300 paperweight, I would be very appreciative to hear it.

Some charging tips, maybe you've already tried these:

Why isn't my battery charging?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Had mine about 11 months did the exact same thing as yours. I tried all the suggestions to reset but nothing worked. Finally called customer support and after half an hour jumping through hoops they sent a link with an “ offer “.   50 % off a different model or a free replacement ionic.  Of course I chose the one I had the ionic.  It came in a few days and for now is running fine. The never asked me to send the broken one back. So now I have 2.  One that doesn’t work and one that does.

Call customer support they will send you a new one if it’s under one year old.
