hi I've been having a lot of software issues with my fitbit blaze like the screen keeps flickering and keeps going white then black I phone fitbit customer services today and went through all the trouble shooting jargon that I know how to do already and have done multiple times once we done all that I was then offered a free upgrade to the fitbit ionic.. burnt orange and slate blue okay that's all good it then popped in to my head after the call why was I only offered this colour seeing how my blaze is black and silver so I phone back to told another Customer Service person about my previous call and what was discussed I then asked was there any other colours that you could have on the upgrade only to be told yes what I'd really like to know is why was I not told this on the first Call down to bad customer services and lack of training

Your question @SunsetRunner really would need to be brought up with customer service. Asking the community of Fitbit users, might not get you an answer that is better than a flip of a coin
Sorry but we do not have access to why support does what they do.
If it is any help the ionic does have a replaceable band and built in GPS, which makes it my favorite.

Maybe the other colour was out of stock on the initial telephone call? Stock levels are changing all the time and obviously the system has to update to reflect this. So when you called the second time maybe it was now showing as being in stock?

the second call was made within two minutes of the other call ending so I highly doubt that it is down to stock levels with in the space of two minutes considered I even checked the if the other colours was in stock

I do believe the replacement devices come from a different inventory. I guess we will never really know why you wasn't offered the other colour choice, at least you have got the outcome you wanted now though ![]()
