My Fitbit Ionic won't take a charge.  The problem seems to be skin debris surrounding the 3 pin magnetic charging port.  Ifbbn you clean this area by scraping away debris  it will start charging again.  Is there a better way to keep charging port area clean?

I have always rinsed my Ionic with running water (and rubbing with my fingers) after any activity in which I sweat heavily. I then towel dry it. Following this I have not experienced a charging issue in the 18 months I've had my Ionic.
