Hi have been reading about active minutes on forum ect for ionic fitbit can I get some answers.
Ok I have a ionic fitbit purchased as a gift for Christmas. since start up it has not logged any active mins on the app or the fitbit. I do weights on alternate days 30 to 50 mins. some small runs around 20 min and 1.8miles but having looked back there are no logs of active mins can anyone help please. I have changed my active min down to 10min too.
Spoken to someone from fitbit and have a number 34084252 as my point of references incase my active min dont work which after a run today still have not shown up.
Can anyone help please.

You are confusing "active minutes" and exercise sessions.
That might not explain all your issues, but it will help to get the same terminology.
For instance, what you changed down to 10 minutes, is the minimum time it takes for an activity to be recognized as an exercise session.
Though I expect you will not like this suggestion, using the Exercise App instead of relying on exercise auto-recognition removes much of the confusion.

Ok do you mean by manually picking it off my ionic watch before I start my runs if so I do this allready what I am saying is all things register on app and on the fitbit ionic watch. Everything bar the active mins since the 25th Dec everything has worked fine bar the issue of no active min being logged there is nothing registered ever.does that make sense of what I am trying to explain as there should be something there for running or weights but there is totally nothing.

Perhaps I misunderstood. Sorry.
So you are getting exercise sessions logged, but just nothing for active minutes.
In that case, I'm no help.
I could see you might not get them for weights, if between set rest periods let your heart rate drop low enough, but I would think you should get them for runs of at least 10 minutes.
