ionic stopped recording sleep

 My Fitbit Ionic stopped recording aly sleep sessions for the last four days I haven't changed any settings and before that it was only recording 1-2 hrs per night has this happened to anyone else? if so have you found a fix I don't want to return a otherwise great fitbit

I ware my watch so it’s tight and release it one notch and I check the hr
regularly.

As the Ionic uses a combination of movement and heart rate data to calculate sleep, it’s possibly one of the two that is not being detected. Perhaps you are wearing it too loose, so that HR data is missing?

Yes,  I have had mine 12 days now and I have been working with Fitbit.  I requested a return label.  What I did do the last 2 nights is changed the sleep setting from Normal to Sensitive.  This may have helped a little.  I am still showing approximately an hour less than I believe it should reflect. This is the only issue I am not happy with at this time.  I may keep it after I test it a couple of more nights.

If you check hr every hour, you don't sleep!

I also have not been getting sleep recordings from my iconic. The article gave some basic info on sleep stages, but nothing that would help with this ..it sounds like this may be an issue with the iconic as my old Blaze never had this issue. Is Fit bit working on a solution?

Is Fit bit working on a solution? This isn't a bug. However, I've noticed that other users have reported that they aren't receiving sleep stages. Please try the following troubleshooting: 

 

  • Manually sync your tracker 
  • Restart your Ionic 
  • Try sleeping with your Ionic on your non-dominant hand 

 

If the previous steps didn't work, please manually log your sleep

Go to Bluetooth forget device then reconnect Bluetooth connection worked for me when mine stopped recording sleep :bed:
