hi guys,
I guess the answer is NO
but I was wondering if the Ionic will be able to work with an external chest strap? like a H7 or H10 Polar?
it's a feature that AW is offering since the beginning and when it's time for serious workout or weight lifting the wrist rate technology is still far from being good enough.
Since the Ionic will be able to pair bluetooth earphones I guess it would be technically possible to add a chest strap too, not sure if at Fitbit they will finally be open minded enough to let 3rd part like Polar working on their devices.
anyone of you has this info please? or someone at Fitbit? Just in case the answer is NO, I know I can suggest it as a feature, and in fact it was suggested various time on Blaze thread but still no answer about it, so, please don't tell me to go into that section and suggest it 😛
thanks!

No.
No app support - Fitbit does not provide access to Bluetooth to 3rd party app developers.
Early reviews already reporting Ionic's HR is generally good but still hit or miss.

I'm thinking the answer to your question is a three-parter:

Hey guys, vote for that feature on the top left side at this thread, pls.

The more people requesting this feature, hopefuly the faster it will get on our Ionics 😉
