"Clear All" doesn't clear all notifications

Running Fitbit app v2.84 (20213341), on my Pixel 2 running Android Pie, with the 1/5/19 security patch level. My Ionic is running 27.33.1.30 and I use Outlook for Android v2.2.266 (295).

When I swipe down from the top of the screen while in watch mode, I can browse my notifications. When I scroll to the very top and tap Clear All, some, but not all of my notifications are cleared. For the few that remain, I tap any of the actions, I get Action Failed. This notification has expired and is no longer valid.

I reset my Ionic and that clears my notifications, but the problem occurs again with new notifications.

Victor,  on your phone,  open the Fitbit app,  top of the screen you see

Your picture,  the Fitbit name,  then on the far right you see a file box (like what you might have on your desktop)

Press that box, it opens and on

The top of the page you see

Messages and notifications.

Press notifications,  it opens

And you see each and every notifications Fitbit has sent you.

You can delete each one of those notifications,  by pressing one and hold for a second and at the lower end of your screen is a delete button,  press that and that one notifications,  is deleted,  then you can delete each one by one till the screen is clear.

Now garage is cleared up.

Rollie, perhaps it's different for iOS, but for on my Pixel 4, those are notifications from the Fitbit app. The notifications I am talking about are notifications from the apps on my phone such as text messages, emails, and other applications.

Victor,  are you talking about the notifications on your device?

It's like if for a few days or weeks since you last hit "clear all" it will not operate correctly.

Sorry but its been a while since I had fixed that on my Ionic.

Try this: Press and hold the left and bottom right buttons on device till you see the Fitbit symbol.  RELEASE

Soft reset done.

Go to your phone,  open the Fitbit app

Tap your picture,  then under the device list tap " set up device "

Complete that. Then check those notifications and  All clear  should work.

Hope that helps.
