I have just updated my Ionic to v 25.32.12.24 via the app on my iPhone.
When the process had finished I got a message on the Ionic screen to say that a "recalibration" exercise now needed to happen, which needed the watch to be plugged in to the charger cable and have the wrist sensors "unobstructed".
What a good job I wasn't doing this on the move, but was at home with access to the charger cable. There was nothing in the note that accompanied news of the upgrade to say this would happen. More to the point, there was nothing to tell me when this "recalibration" had ended. I gave it half an hour and unplugged.
Does anyone know what this "recalibration" exercise actually "recalibrates"?

@tomp2, the recalibration process only takes a few seconds to complete after the tracker is put on the charger cable and laid down on a flat surface. If you don't do it at the time of the firmware update, it will do it the next time it is placed on the charger and laid down.
