My fitbit Ionic give different counts every time.  I walk my dog 3-4 times a day and do the same exact route and get different step counts but my wife's fitbit blaze gets the same count which is ussually double what mine says    any help would be appreciated

I suspect it has something to do with holding a dog's leash. Unfortunately, pedometers worn on the wrist are influenced by anything that could impede the natural swing of your arm during a walk, like a stroller, shopping cart, or in your case, a dog at the end of a leash.

the only problem is that I hold the leash in my left hand and the fitbit is on my right
