wifi - domain authentication?

Not sure what you mean by "domain authentication". If you mean joining Microsoft network domains that seems an extremely unlikely and I don't see any use case, regardless this isn't WiFi technology that's just authentication to a server or a group of servers/workstations.

Why would you need access to your company files and folders on your watch?

I don't see this happening. Like @SunsetRunner said, the use case for something like this would be extremely low. Resources are better spent on other areas of the Ionic.
