Hi everyone,
I'm using the food plan calorie deficit feature. I see a different "calories left" amount on the app home screen widget vs. the app's food log screen. Does anyone know why that is? It often differs by 200 calories or so.
Thanks!!

Hello @Sparklesaurus and welcome to the Community. I'm sorry that no one answered your question. Those two screens can differ by more than that sometimes. The calories left on the food tile on your Today screen follows your calorie burn and includes estimated calorie burn through the rest of the day. The Food Log screen seems to display calories left as if it is the end of the day. It's 8 AM as I type and I haven't eaten anything. My Today screen says I have 1500 calories left and my Food Log says I have 480.
I'm not sure why the Food Log page is programmed that way. I don't think it is helpful. You can log food for a future date. Sometimes I log my breakfast in advance, to help me get out the door faster. It's distressing to wake up and be over target!

Thanks for your reply! Your explanation makes sense even if the programming doesn't : )
