Fitbit Luxe and Fitbit Sense sleep inquiry

Is there any difference in the way that the Luxe and the Sense track sleep? I don't need the full functionality of a smartwatch (also limited as I'm on an iPhone) but I'd like to get the best sleep tracking - online reviews are directing me to the Sense but I'm not sure this feature is any different from the Luxe.

Hi there, @AndreaO63. Welcome to the Community Forums. I'm glad to hear that you're interested in getting either the Fitbit Luxe or Fitbit Sense. 🙂

Thanks for your question. We recommend checking out our comparison page at https://www.fitbit.com/compare, where you can see at a glance the features that each tracker provides.

For more information about your sleep data, see What should I know about Fitbit sleep stages?

Hope this helps.

@AndreaO63   You might get some help from this Luxe review from CNET.   The reviewer used it for a week and does mention her sleep tracking experience.  She doesn't compare it to other devices.  The Luxe is new and the Sense is fairly new.  I don't expect to see a side by side comparison from any user.

I'm not sure what you mean by your iPhone limitation.  I am an iPhone user and wear a Versa 3.  The only limit I see is that I can't do a Quick Reply to a text.  What are you other concerns as an iPhone user?

When will the spo2 be available as an update? It is strange they advertise this and it is why I purchased it but it’s not on the watch. My Fitbit Luxe is up to date.

I wasn't sure if you get the full smart watch functionality with an iphone as opposed to android.

Hi @AndreaO63

I have both the Fitbit sense and the Fitbit Luxe and there is no difference in the way that they track sleep.

As for the SpO2, fitbit may be waiting for government permission. I'm not sure how much the affected hardware has changed.
