The gold Luxe comes with a Gorjana band and sells for $199.95.

 

The silver Luxe comes with a black or pink plastic band for $149.95.  You can purchase the silver Gorjana band separately for $99.95.

 

Any idea why the exact same product in silver is $50 more?

Sorry, but I don't understand your comparison.  Exactly which 2 items are you comparing for the price?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

The Fitbit Luxe Special Edition ($199.95) comes with a gold stainless steel Parker Link Bracelet from the timeless jewelry brand gorjana, and gives you a bold and sophisticated look for every day. Includes a peony classic band + 6-month Premium trial.** This bracelet comes with the Fitbit Luxe device.

The Fitbit Luxe Lunar White / Soft Gold Stainless Steel, Black / Graphite Stainless Steel, or Orchid / Platinum Stainless Steel is for $149.95. The Luxe housing is made of stainless steel. The Luxe band is made of a comfortable silicone (similar to that used in many sport watches) and fastens with an anodized metal buckle and tang. There's even more to love with a 6-month trial of Fitbit Premium.** This bracelet comes with the Fitbit Luxe device.

@JohnnyRow  @MarreFitbit   A user who prefers a gold color Luxe can get the Special Edition for $199.95 USD.  That user will get the gold gorjana band and a silicone band.  A user who prefers a silver device will pay $149.95 USD (for the device) plus $99.95 USD (for the silver band), equalling $249.90 USD for a comparable combination.

 

@MarreFitbit   This doesn't answer the inquiry at all.  A user who prefers silver will pay more in order to get a device, a silicone band, and a gorjana band.  $50 USD.
