Hi, @EmmaNL welcome to the community, you appear to have a problem syncing your Luxe with the Fitbit app on your phone. Each time you open the Fitbit app on your phone it should automatically sync. You may find this article of interest Why won't my Fitbit device sync? - Fitbit Help Center follow the links for advice & guidance. Syncing uses Bluetooth to link the Luxe to your phone then WiFi or cell phone data to reach the Fitbit servers, you must have an internet connection. I usually manually sync my Fitbit app when I wake at the beginning of the day by sliding my finger down the "Today" screen & releasing (twice) to ensure I'm looking at the most up-to-date data. Remember that some of the data has to go from your Fitbit app to Fitbit's servers, be processed & then returned to you (it happens very quickly but might need a second sync)

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck please post here again.

Cheers

Hi,

Thank you for your response.
I indeed have to manually sync every time I open the Fitbit app by swiping down. Syncing then sometimes takes almost 1 minute. Whereas months back the app synced automatically as soon as I opened it.
I have also tried all the steps to connect the app and the Fitbit like resetting the app, the Fitbit and resetting the connections but I still have to do it manually.
Is there any other tip to make sure the app syncs automatically?
Thanks

Hi, @EmmaNL, thanks for your feedback, allowing you have restarted both the Luxe & the app on your phone you should not be having this problem. I note syncing is slow when you manually sync your Fitbit app, is it possible your Bluetooth environment is crowded? By this I mean there's a lot of Bluetooth-linked stuff in operation nearby when you try to sync, perhaps some are quite old.

The other area to think about is the router you use to get into the internet, if you are sharing a busy router this might slow things down. Any of these issues might be causing the automatic syncing of the Fitbit to fail, you only notice when you trigger it yourself.

You do not mention the make, model or OS of your cellphone. If you are running an Android phone (I'm sorry I do not have experience with Apple phones) you should review the Fitbit app settings by going to your phone settings>apps> Fitbit>Permissions, ensure all are allowed>Storage & cache, clear cache>Mobile Data & WiFi allow background data & unrestricted data>App battery usage, unrestricted>Pause activity if unused should be turned OFF

Let us know if this helps.

Cheers.
