Is it possible to respond to text messages and answer calls on my fitbit (luxe)

Hi @SuperSpaceMonke No unfortunately  you need a Smart Watch to respond to text messages (and an Android Phone). You can't do it with the Luxe.

That’s disappointing. But I guess it’s good because then when I get a notification, I’ll have to move to my phone to answer it. Good exercise, especially when I lost my phone. More walking
