My fitbit stopped recording my steps at 9981 and I have walked a lot more steps.  Why did it stop?

Hi @linsky2,

Just like a computer, the Luxe (as well as other trackers) are prone to freezing.  My guess is this is what happened to you.  If you can, you need to swipe up to "Device Settings" and select "Restart".  The device will reboot itself.

If you can't do that (because the screen won't move), you need to plug it into a computer.  On the end of the charging cable, you'll notice a small black button.  Press it 3 times, pausing for one second between each press.  Wait about 10 seconds and the Fitbit logo should appear, signaling a successful restart.

This happened to me consistently. After 3 days I called FB support and just received the shipping instructions to return my Luxe. I had too many problems and feel that FB rushed the release without addressing known issues.   I plan to get the charge 4 instead.  It might not be as pretty but it is reliable.
