Fitbit stopped working even though fully charged

Charged by battery before going out to a dance night that usually records at least 15,000 steps. Part way through the night I checked my heart beat speed and it was working fine. Next time i checked it a blank screen appeared and it had stopped recording anything. Got home and put it in the charger and it showed still plenty of battery - and no low battery message - but only 6,006 seps registered which was what it was when I checked the heart beat . Why would it stop working?

Hi, @Memsahib46, welcome to the community, may I suggest you try restarting your Lux? -

To quote the manual -

"Restart Luxe
If you can’t sync Luxe or you have trouble with tracking your stats or receiving
notifications, restart your tracker from your wrist:
1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app .
2. Open the Settings app Restart Device Restart.
If Luxe is unresponsive:
1. Connect Luxe to the charging cable. For instructions, see "Charge your tracker
" on page 7.
2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times, pausing for 1
second between presses. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears."

If you still have a problem try changing the clock face in the Fitbit app on your phone.

If you are still stuck please post here again & let us know.

Cheers

Thanks for advice. Really appreciate community help.  I have highlighted the email with suggestions  in case I have a similar issue in the future.

But strangely,  once I got home and sent request for help, and then checked my Fitbit it was alive again.  Not sure if it was logging into my dashboard on my PC that brought it alive. But sadly not showing any extra steps. 😪  So,  I am  still not sure what caused it to seize up during yesterday evening, but it has worked fine all day today. Maybe I was too energetic last night?

This is happening to me also. Just happened this past week. I have done the reset and it starts working but then stops again anywhere between 30 minutes later to a few hours later. I haven't been able to go 24 hours without the Luxe stopping. I am on the latest firmware update. Battery is charged. Super frustrating. I will try changing the clockface but that's a pretty lame fix. I've also read other posts that says that doesn't work but I will try it.

-----------------------------

I changed the clockface and my tracker worked for a few hours then shut off. This time when I put it on the charger, it showed 0% battery even though I started the day at 100% charged. Checked it a minute later on the charger and now it's 100% again. This tracker is too much work and I've only had it since October. I've never had problems like this with previous Fitbit trackers. I'm very disappointed.
