I don't know if anyone out there has a vp shunt. I have the newest one. Where the doctor has to control it by a magnet. What I mean by that is, he changes the fluid pressure in my head. If I wear my fitbit it bothers that. I wanted to know if anyone else out there is like that? This also drains my battery too quick. Just wondering if I am the only one out there.
Best Answer@Mylenda Please check with your doctor about using your Luxe. It uses a magnetic charger. The charger has a stronger magnet that the Luxe, but both have magnets. The device manufacturer should have clear recommendations about your shunt and everyday magnets. It might not be safe to wear a magnet based Fitbit at all.

Best Answeryes I know. I hate to give in though. But my heath is more important. I don't know what to do with my fitbit now. It isn't even a year old. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just me. Any suggestions?
Best AnswerIt has been giving me headaches. I have not been wearing it and no headaches. So I haven't wore mine in sometime now. I hate not to wear it because it was a gift but I got to do what's best for me.
One day I rubbed my head with my hand I that my fitbit was on. That really messed me up. I was dizzy. So I never did that again.
Let me know how your husband is. The surgery really isn't that bad. 😉
