GPS connected but exercise map not showing

My Luxe is connecting to my GPS and allegedly tracking my runs, but when I try to view them in the app after the fact, this is what every map looks like. No data.

Yes, GPS is connected every time. Yes, my permissions are enabled for the Luxe to access my position at all times. Yes, I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling the app.

The data that I'm getting is also highly suspect. It will report my mile times for the run and then give me an overall average mile time that is higher than any single one of the miles ran within that run. This also leads me to believe that the GPS is not working.

Hi, @Crsteven, welcome to the community, If you use auto-recognize to record your run GPS is not turned on. If you try starting your run from the Lux GPS will engage.

Let us know how you get on.

I always start my run from the Luxe and wait for it to show that GPS is connected before starting. So that cannot be the problem.

@Crsteven  Can you also confirm that your Background App Refresh and Cellular Data are toggled on for Fitbit?  Also, don't force quit the Fitbit app.  It must be running in the background.  Please take a look at this Help article: What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?  I think Android power saving modes can interfere with GPS tracking.

Odd question, if you tap on the map and zoom out, do you get geographic details?  I use an iPhone, so my maps are Apple maps, not Google maps.

Hi, @Crsteven, a further thought, have you ensured that your Fitbit app has access to your location in your phone settings? On an Android phoneSettings>Location>check the slider is in the on position> App location permissions>check Fitbit is allowed all the time. To change/adjust Settings>apps>Fitbit>permissions>location permission>allow all the time. Return to the Fitbit app & sync. I'm not familiar with Apple but the settings will not be wildly different. @LZeeW may be able to help if you have an iPhone.

Let us know how you get on.
