Inaccurate Calorie Counter

Hi,

I replaced my Fitbit Inspire with a Fitbit Luxe last year and since then my daily calorie count has gone from approximately 2000 calories a day to about 300??. I regularly walk over 25000 steps a day and even ran a 10k only to have burnt 351 calories?.

This can't be right.

My weight/height etc are all correct so it can't be that. So I don't understand how this can be correct.

An average daily use is between 1500 & 2000 calories a day - I am pretty active so 300 seems crazy.

Check your heart rate graphs.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi Johnny,

My heart rate graphs are showing that even though I spend most of my waking hours over 100bpm I'm still not in peak or cardio.

Fat burn is 109 - 131

Cardio is 131 - 159

Peak is above 159

Does that look correct?

You say you know your weight is correct, but that is the only thing I can imagine causing this.  Check again that you are not using wrong units, or have a decimal point misplaced.
