So glad I didn’t update the firmware. My Luxe is working beautifully.--

For anyone still having major issues with their luxe:

Try uninstalling find my phone and other unused apps, and reboot.

If issues continue to affect function:

Respond to Fitbit on Twitter. It has higher visibility. I did, and they opened a ticket. They replaced my luxe with a unit that does not have updated firmware.

So, I got the latest update for my Luxe and since then it hasn't been working properly. First, after the update, I put took my Luxe off the charger and it was frozen on the charging screen. I was able to restart it via using the cable. Immediately after that, my screen no longer scrolls up or down and sometimes fights me to scroll left and right. I've restarted my Luxe several times and the issue continues. How can we resolve this?

my lux was working fine prior to the update and unfortunately since the update which looks like it did without incident, I have lost the exercise recording each time I exercise and many of the other functions don't work regularly....unfortunate purchase.  I went to the cost of buying this one as I didn't want one of the cheap ones....I should have bought the cheaper ones.

I do not like some of the changes in the app and would like to know if I can undo the update. It used to show me all the times I get zone minutes, but now it only shows a few stretches. I also liked that the bars for my steps were different colors to reflect my pace, but that's gone. I do, however, like the sliding bar to show the counts and times. It was always hard to tap on the desired bar.

I hope your developers are scrambling to fix this update. Now my Luxe won't swipe in any direction and I have to tap on it to wake up. Green light on back keeps flashing. I map my morning walks on the app, but it does not show my Heart Zones, says "not enough heart rate data available" although it shows "Resting Heart Rate" data on the other screen, along with some outrageous spikes.

I received this Luxe through my SCAN health plan. Now I'm thinking that Fitbit was just trying to unload these buggy Luxes on us.

I haven’t had any problems with my Luxe because I didn’t update the
firmware, once I started reading about all the chaos the update was
causing. If you can revert to the prior version of your firmware, you
should be fine.--

My actual Luxe works fine. I haven't had any problems since the update. I just don't like some of the changes it made to the app on my phone. If someone could tell me how to un-update, that would be great.  🙂

I updated my Luxe a couple of weeks ago and have not had any issues with the upgrade.   Please note that once you upgrade your firmware, there is NO OPTION to "revert back to a previous version."

The new watch faces have arrived and they are not any improvement over the old ones.

I hope they can resolve any issues for everyone soon.

Similar to this long thread, the update has created so many problems that it feels like the brand wants us to leave for something better.

Since update I now get 2 notifications I don't want! An alarm to wake up and what my pace is. I didn't set either one of them!! When I tap and swipe on the wake up alwrm, nothing happens. I tap dismiss and 5 minutes later it is buzzing again!! The only notifcation I want to get EVER, is when I have gone 10,000 steps!! How donI get rid of these? My Luxe was great until this last update!!

I’m having the exact same problem, too. Going to try the software update again tonight. Umpteenth time.
Meanwhile, since the announcement of the new update, my app will not always update. To force it to, I have to turn my iPhone off & on. It’s ok until the next morn when I wake up then no sleep or any update until I do power my phone off & on again.
with what I have read here, worry about doing the update but not doing so good without it. My thought was the app doesn’t like that I’ve not updated.
wish me luck this try.

Hope you & everyone else has got straight already.

Well, after reading through everything, maybe I won’t try the update again. I can’t get it to run, anyway. It starts to update then goes back to the clock screen. Maybe my Luxe doesn’t like the taste and is spitting it out? Lol Anyway, guess that I’ll consider myself lucky to have been spared the issues that I’ve seen. I just have to deal with the weirdness of restarting my phone each morning so the app will update for the night. Not that bad.

when Fitbit puts out that they’ve got it fixed, I’ll try the update then. Don’t need more bells & whistles.

I’m staying right where I am. No update for me, even if they fix it. My
Luxe does everything beautifully and we’re going to keep it that way.--

This update killed my battery life. My luxe is 6 months old & lasted 6-7 days on a single charge. The minute I updated it, the battery life fell to 3 days max & it doesn't always charge when put on the factory supplied charger, sometimes it takes 3 tries to start charging.

I updated the app & repaired my luxe with no change to battery life. I'm fed up. How do I fix this?

Unfortunately, there is no way to regress to the earlier version of
firmware. It really stinks. I’m just glad I read about all the problems it
created, so I stayed right where I was. Just as is true with Mac or PC
upgrades, always read reviews and give the updates three or four months to
reveal the problems, if any. If all is well, THEN do the upgrade. --

I learned that valuable lesson, will do the same from now on.

Please undo it. You destroyed the app.  Saved exercises are gone, I got logged out, was forced to create new password, numbers on the time scrolls superimpose over each other…
Oh, I guess this is related to the fitbit itself?  I wasn't offered any update, and so I didn't get it.
But the app is all messed up
