I link my Luxe to share data with My Net Diary (a meal logging/calorie app similar to My Fitness Pal). Everything has worked well for years. But two days ago, the earned exercise calories have been totally out of whack! It posted 950 exercise calories for just 5,000 steps! This is really throwing me off because my total daily calorie allowance is only 1,400 and if I consume an extra 1,000 calories just because I walk 5,000 steps… I contacted MyNetDiary support and they say they simply take what FitBit sends them. Any ideas???

UPDATE: The problem seems to have been fixed in the past day. Yesterday FitBit posted to MyNetDiary that I earned 800 exercise calories for 13,000 steps, which sounds reasonable.

I'm convinced that this is an app issue and not an issue with your device.  What's the make and model of the phone (I assume) that you're using to sync your Fitbit with?

I use my iPad. FitBit seems to have fixed the issue. See my update to my original post. Thanks for your reply.
