Hi Community,
I am wondering if anyone has encountered an issue where the pins of the charging cable have recessed into their holes. I have had my Luxe for a little over two years now, and yesterday, I noticed that although my watch says it's charging when connected to the charging cable, it stops after a few seconds. Upon inspection, I noticed that one of the pins had retracted into the cable.
Is there any way to perform a DIY fix? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello community!
A surprising turn of events .. infact I would say it is a blessing having read what others have gone through with their fitbits.
So after 2 days of battery draining and after also trying wire charging, and this one also either failing or battery draining, I tried again the day before yesterday and slowly, the tracker started charging. At one point it dropped down, and I said a quick anxious prayer 😉 and it went up again. When it got to 25%, I immediately updated the tracker and it has been working since then.
The one pin is still sunken, and I feel the charger grip is not as tight as it was before. I feel. But it is charging, and the magnetic pull helps some with the hold.
So I am sorted and I hope and pray that this is it and there will be no more hiccups.
Thank you @Gr4ndp4 and @Julia_G for your helps. Aksante sana!

Hi, @Sandraamushi , welcome to the community, if one of the pins is not making contact with the back of your Luxe properly then it will not complete the circuit & charge. You may find this article of interest Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? - Fitbit Help Center describes the issues that prevent charging. Try gently wiggling the pin with your finger, it's spring-loaded & might pop out again. If the depressed pin is the only problem you have then you can buy a replacement cable from your local Google store or from Amazon at a modest cost.
I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.
Cheers

Good morning, @Gr4ndp4! Salaam from warm Dar es Salaam!
I did try wiggling, while it wiggled back quite easily, and I could press it down, and it would pop up when wiggled, but it stayed where it is. I am now wondering if it broke? That it has now gotten shorter from breaking, and not that it has sunken in. Can it break? Although I have never dropped it, it has never been moved unless I am travelling so it has always been by that one spot.
One thing, though, last night I tried to put the watch on the charger, and it blinked charging. It was at 20%, suddenly it shot down to 10% and then 5%. It went up to 10%, and then 12% and then went down again. All within hardly 5 minutes. So it looks like the charger is draining the battery.
Aksante.

Hi, @Sandraamushi you can buy a replacement charging cable from the Fitbit online store (it isn’t available in shops). There’s a link at the top of every page in the community. Look for accessories.
