Luxe after Google transition

Anyone else having the following issues since Google transition: crashing device when doing anything (alarm, timer, nothing at all), battery at 0 but never syncs with app, and or if any notification device just crashes? Anyone? I have ALL of these issues and about to say "to HELLo" to this and all Fitbits at this point. I had absolutely NO problems until the transition.

Welcome to the forums @FeLee

Thank you for taking the time to share the details regarding these difficulties with your Luxe. Sorry to know about it.

I'm not sure if you already tried to perform a restart:

  1. Swipe down from the clock screen to find the Settings app
  2. Tap the Settings app> Restart Device> and then Restart.

If your device is unresponsive:

  1. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, refer to How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  2. Press the button located on the flat end of the charger 3 times with one-second pause between each press. Then wait 10 seconds or until the Fitbit logo appears.

You can also restart your device in another way. Disconnect the device from the charging cable, wait one second, then reconnect. Repeat this process 3 times within an 8-second interval. After that, wait 10 seconds for the device to restart.

Please, regarding the inconvenience with battery, take a look at the following article:  Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Had this happen to me and spoke to customer service three times. Went thru THREE ROUNDS of repetitive troubleshooting. They said they needed to gather my data and I needed to sync my watch at 100%battery and all the way to 0% (but my luxe kept dying at every little interaction so it took me FOREVER). In the end, they received the battery data and without explanation, gave me a 50% discount on a new device (would’ve replaced my device for free but it fell out of warranty). Going to try again as I love the Luxe (I’ve owned 2 prior to this and they were awesome) but if it craps out this bad, I’m done with it.

The good thing is that your perseverance got you a discount!!  I was so over it, I just got another Fitbit.  Now, if this one craps out like the Luxe, I am truly done. I really do like the Fitbit, too.

I'm having similar issues. I've had my Luxe (which replaced my Alta HR) since May 2022. About the same time as quite a few other threads on here, my Luxe battery started to conk out. The device will switch itself off but when I plug it in it will say it's at 90% charge, then drop to 76% and after a restart or two, maybe 46%. It's now at the point where it's unreliable over a 24 hours period. I can only conclude that FitBit no longer want to support the Luxe and this is their way of making you consider purchasing a new device. I am disappointed. Why can't FitBit consider making a device that lasts, instead of contributing to landfill so rapidly. The new models offer next to no improvement on the last -

You know, I never thought of that and you may be on to something. I did
purchase another FitBit and it was not expensive. So far so good. It is
working too well confirming my old one was broken for a while. HOWEVER, if
this one conks out. I am moving on to another device. This will be my
last purchase of a device that I am kind of losing trust with.

@ManuFitbit I clicked on the link you provided for extending battery life and then a few other links to get to a page https://support.google.com/fitbit/answer/14225533?sjid=16289419591376394501-NA#zippy=%2Chow-do-i-tur... where this was displayed:

Temporarily turn off notifications

When you turn on the do not disturb or driving mode setting on your phone, your Fitbit device receives notifications but won’t alert you. View your notifications in the Notifications app
To temporarily turn off notifications on your Fitbit device, swipe down from the clock screen to access quick settings

 tap DND mode or sleep mode
 For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?

<snip>
  1. From the Today tab

     in the Fitbit app, tap the devices icon

    -> your device.
  2. Tap Notifications. In the Vibration Settings section, turn on the Always Vibrate option.

i am unable to find this ‘Always Vibrate’ option . Since the black non-responsive screen issue always happens after the buzz/vibrate it would be great to turn this option off. showing screenshots of my luxe device settings
