Luxe battery is draining too quickly

Fitbit used to be a great company with a great product. Now they are just like Apple. Pushing updates that diable your tracker forcing you to purchase a new one. My Luxe no longer holds its charge for longer than 18 hours.  A battery that is supposed to last 5 days can't even last one.  I have reached out to the company and they won't even stand behind the product. My tracker is less than 2 years old. This should not be happening.

Mine has been dying within a day or two as well. 😔 But it’ll also show insistently the battery life, it’ll go up and down throughout the day.

Hi there, @strdst514. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your recent experience with the Luxe and our Support Team. We‘re taking your comments and sentiments in regards to our products and services into consideration.

Even though I truly appreciate you took the time to come here and express your feelings towards your experience with the Luxe and also want to find a resolution to your issue, my best advice is to wait for a response from our Support Team to the last email you sent. Please note for this kind of inquiries/cases/process, there's no so much we here in the forums can do for you as this is something that our Support Team handles based on our policies.

Since you already have a ticket open with them it'd be easier to continue the follow up on this matter with them directly. They will tell you what's next!

@m.jensen427 Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about your Luxe's battery behavior, that's odd. I understand how you must be feeling, I will do my best to help you with this.

If you haven't done so yet, please try the following:

  1. Confirm your Luxe has the latest firmware version. For more information please visit How do I update my Fitbit device? and What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?
  2. Check to see if you’re using high battery use features. For more information please visit Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
  3. Let’s try a 3 press restart with your charging cable. For more information please see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Exactly my problem, my brand new Fitbit luxe battery only lasts 1-2 days per full charge. I went to 'chat' for help but it cut out halfway through. My previous 2 Fitbits were great until the 'wings' attaching the strap broke (on each one, so obviously a fault in design) but although this one is very pretty it is totally annoying and would put me off buying another

The support team did respond and they said they will not be able to help
me. That I have to purchase a new device. That is the purpose of this
post. A device that is less than 2 years old and has all the updates and
done all of the trouble shooting should not be failing. But it is.

What lousy customer so-called service. I will pass on your comments to 'WHICH' as they regularly write about these devices and indeed had recommended the 'LUXE'.  When I was in touch with 'support' it just cut out when I guess the robot couldn't answer my question. Mine does work but a daily charge! Not practical is it?

You have to be kidding me.  Calling the Luxe's battery power all over the place odd?   It has been doing that to EVERY LUXE OWNER I know since Google pushed firmware updates.   You HAVE to know this isn't odd, but the new normal!!
