Is anyone else struggling with luxe since the latest update ? I don’t get a warning anymore my luxe is low in charge and I can’t get a full charge it seems to take forever now and runs out of charge extremely quick - it’s quite frustrating?

Hello there, @SandiBeat. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear about the battery issues you're having with your Luxe. I understand how frustrating this can be.
As a first approach, I'd recommend following the tips and recommendations provided here Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging?
Probably the reason why your battery is draining is because it's not charging properly. If after the above the battery keeps draining, please see the tips in Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

This only started after the latest fitbit update..... so i dont think it is to do with my battery i think the latest update needs a fix - my watch goes from 100% to 0% pretty quickly now and when i connect it to the charger it goes back to 100% then back to whatever % its just not working the way it should and its only after the update. i also dont get a warning any more that its low on charge the way i used to.

@SandiBeat Thanks for getting back and the update. I do understand where you're coming from. I appreciate you've brought this to my attention.
To better assist you, please restart your Luxe and then try charging it to the fullest. Then, please monitor your Luxe's battery behavior and let me know if the issue persists.
I'd like to mention that the update with the Fitbit app is not related with your Luxe's battery behavior. Probably it is a coincidence, but the performance between the two is not related.
I'll be here if you need further help.

I am also having an issue with my battery and my Fitbit in general. My battery lasts maybe two days at most and the reading on my Lux is not the same as the app. I’ve reset my Fitbit, double checked to make sure my Lux is up to date and made sure that everything is syncing as it’s supposed too and I’m still having issues. What else can I try to get my Fitbit to work properly?

I have the same EXACT issue. Made the update and the issue started happening. I purchased my Fitbit exactly 2 years ago. Chatted with Fitbit help and went through the trouble shooting. I was told to check my warranty but I believe they only have a 1 year normally.

Yes u have the same problem. It worked fine for years till recent update. I love Fitbit and daily monitor the progress. This is frustrating now and I don’t like to wear it. I have restarted and made sure it’s charging properly. My problem is it drains very fast in day don’t know when it got switched off as it doesn’t give low battery alert. I have been using Fitbit for years. Due to this frustration I am thinking of getting different brand now unlesss fixed. Please fix this assp

I too am looking for another smartwatch. This is extremely frustrating. These devices should last more than a year or two.

Absolutely!
I've had my Luxe for 16 months and it worked perfectly before the update. I've tried all the fixes they're recommending and it hasn't fixed the issues.
It's a HUGE "coincidence" that so many people are having the same issues beginning after the update.
I also am looking for a new fitness tracker, this experience and the way it has been brushed off by Fitbit has given me the true picture of how they treat their customers.

I beg to differ as my Luxe"s battery also drains very fast since the update!!! I always check it before I go to bed. Today my Luxe was unresponsive when I woke up when it was at 50% when I went to bed and this has been happening since the update!!!! Never had a problem before the update!! My battery also only lasts 2 days if lucky!! Have to put it on the charger every morning just to make sure it does not die during the day!!!!

I can say 100% this has been caused by the latest fitbit update and like apple do you need a fix to fix this problem before everyone leaves fitbit and go to another provder.

Absolutely agree this morning i woke up and it hadnt tracked any of my sleep during night - it is just getting beyond a joke now... like you i have to make sure its on for a bit of a charge every day now just to make sure it doesnt cut off completely getting a bit tired of it now. defo be looking for another tracker.

Same thing happens to me...not holding a charge. Plenty of battery when I go to bed and nothing when I wake up. This did not happen prior to the update. Can't trust my Lux at all right now. Very frustrating!

I have the EXACT same problem. Fitbit used to need charging about every four days. Now I lucky if it goes 36 hours. And when I do try to charge it, I have to keep removing it and putting it back on the charger to keep it from stalling at 45% or 62%. I am extremely disappointed and feel that if a solution can’t be found, extensions of warranties to cover this damaging “update” are in order.

absolutely fitbit need to resolve this and surely they can now see we are all having the same problems.

I’m having the same issue since the update! I can’t even find the battery level on the app. I find that I’m charging now every 2 days vs 1x a week. I clean the back where the charging connection is so I know there is nothing impeding it and it takes longer to fully charge.

i take it you can see that everyone is having the same problem therefore this is 100% a fitbit update problem?
