Is anyone else struggling with luxe since the latest update ? I don’t get a warning anymore my luxe is low in charge and I can’t get a full charge it seems to take forever now and runs out of charge extremely quick - it’s quite frustrating?

Correct. No response, no solution. I had to stop using my FitBit the end of May. Back to my Timex. Still trying to decide whether to get another "smart" watch or free myself from the technology being on my wrist all the time. I rely on my iPhone to see at least an approximate of steps taken in a day since it is always in my pocket. Maybe around the holiday sales I will consider something different.

Same boat. It's so frustrating. Battery started draining much faster after updating the firmware. I was hoping to find some fix on here. Support told me I could wait for an unknown date for another firmware update or buy a new device with a discount.

I am also having battery issue with my fit bit after the update. Nothing seems to fix the problem.

I don’t think the root cause is a software issue. Otherwise new purchase will have the same problem but it’s seems not the case. I suspect the battery in the cases with problems areis old n not charging which then screws up the way the software reports on the degree of charging

My luxe shows that it is charged but if you restart it it shows that it’s low on charge. I am not able to use the timer or any function. Before the upgrade everything was working.

For what it’s worth, I replaced my lux (under warrantee bought on annazon), and never updated the software on my new one. I don’t plan to either. So far it works perfectly.

I can’t use the timer, the alarms or record manually exercises. As soon as try my watch goes black and I have to place watch on charger. Very frustrating as I was using my watch to wake up.

Yes!!! My 2-year old Luxe does not hold a charge longer than 2 days - which is super annoying when camping in the backcountry & can't charge it. Any suggestions FitBit?

Yes mine is exactly the same. I restart and the battery goes down, I recharge and it still turns off during the day. Really disappointed since I have bought several different watch straps to change between. Was considering buying a new one in case they fixed it (or at least it wasn't present in a new watch) only to find that they are "out of stock" everywhere. So probably they have recalled them.

I still see Luxe on sale on the net? Anyway, what I do is charge it an hour in the morning and charge it another hour in the evening every day. Turn off all notifications. Seems to hobble along. use it mainly to monitor sleep so it’s manageable. But Fitbit is a big disappointment ! !!

That’s all I can. Can no longer use any of the features like alarm or timers

Sad! So it's just a regular watch then, if we can't use any of the features?! 😞 Is this forum not monitored by anyone from FitBit? 🤔

I’ve not seen a word from any support people on this thread. Very disappointing. My latest problem is that it shuts down randomly during the day or night, with a full charge. Have to put it on the charger to get it to restart which is not at all convenient as well as now I’ve lost all the data while it was shut down. Does anyone know if the these problems are just with the Luxe? Are the other Fitbit models performing?

It is 100% luxe related and they have no interest in giving us a fix for it.

Luxe battery issues Luxe battery issues started with Sept 2023 update. I started calling support when my watch was 9 months  old in Sept. getting same rhetoric. Read manual, turn off all features and reset watch. At 13 months watch started only charging for one day at the most. You kindly offered me discounted warranty. I passed as after contacting Fitbit for 4 months I figured you would not acknowledge the issue.  Watch currently shows 100% charged instantly when charging, after 12 hrs still shows 100% charged and charge after latest update last 2 hrs. All features are turned off except sleep and heart rate. 170 complaint has now accrued since Sept 2024, I recvd 7 new complaint notices today via email from this site. Does this mean Fitbit/Google has no intent to take this seriously and the Luxe watch has disappeared from all retail store sites, Amazon and Google?

I am having the same problem. It shuts off even when it’s charged. Today I was on the treadmill and it shut off halfway through. It was 100% charged before I got on the treadmill. I was at the gym so I put it on the charger when I came home and it said it was at 84%! So why did it shut off? Very annoying!!!

I'm here, like everyone else, to log the same complaint. My fitbit was supposedly at 82% last night when I went to bed and was completely dead 8 hours later. I've noticed that even if I leave it on to charge for half a day, it drops down at least 15% within an hour and then it just sits at that whatever the battery percentage reading is at for at least two days. It's so annoying!

I've had my Luxe since Feb 2023 and didn't have any issues until this most recent update. I'm about done with Fitbit and their faulty products and horrible customer service.
